2011 Summer Programming
From June 27th through July 22nd over three 1-week sessions, the Voyage of Exploration is hosting free summer programming for students throughout Baltimore city. This summer's activities and topics will include rowing, on-water navigation, fishing, SeaPerch (submersible ROV's), water quality testing, model blimps, off-site expeditions, and more hands-on STEM activities.
Students will be dropped off and picked-up by parents or guardians every morning at 9am and afternoon at 3pm, at a pre-determined location. A bus will transport the students to the Frederick Douglass - Isaac Myers Maritime Park and Museum in Fells Point where they will participate in exciting hands-on, informal education, be provided with a free lunch, and then be transported back to their pick-up location.
